I am New York State and New Jersey State licensed clinical psychologist. She received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University-Post. I completed an APA accredited internship from Mt. Sinai Services-Elmhurst Hospital Center. I received postdoctoral training from New York University Counseling and Wellness Services.
Dr. Luckman's approach to providing therapy is integrative and client-focused. This means that Dr. Luckman individualizes therapy based on the client's challenges and goals through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic and mindfulness modalities. The treatment used is evidence-based and effective. Dr. Luckman's style is collaborative, goal-directed and open.
Dr. Luckman is an experienced adjunct professor, researcher and presenter. Dr. Luckman taught psychology courses as an adjunct assistant professor at Hunter College, Queens College and Molloy College.
